A good example of how an everyday object, if seen in the right light, can be a lethal weapon. This piece of rope is normally used to tie back the Ballroom curtains; but was found ripped from its position and lying on the Lounge floor, next to the sofa.
The Spanner

An old spanner, usually kept in the Kitchen ready to fix any of the Tudor Close's regular leaks and creaks; was found in the Billiard Room.

An innocuous piece of lead piping which had been left in the Conservatory by a recent repairman. It was retrieved from a table in the Library.
Dagger

Beauty can be deadly and similarly, this jewel encrusted dagger is razor sharp and could easily be used with deadly effect. Normally left in the Lounge to open letters; it was discovered by Inspector Grey near the Kitchen sink.
Candlestick

A family heirloom of Black's, this candlestick is still used to light part of the Dining Room, during David's evening meals. Normally cleaned and polished straight after every meal, it was found in the Conservatory with a melted candle firmly wedged in the top.
