Vima - Ugh. Tripod...minimizing annoying pop-up.
What has the web gone to :(. The front page has some basic information
about the site and the poor author who has to live in Nebraska. Poor gal.
She has admitted that she can't make skins very well and needs to learn
to make objects better before releasing them. Thank you for not torturing
us with crappy objects :)
Oh, these walls are very nice. I tested quite a good group of them and
they were all perfectly seemless. Great style, colors and variety. What
more do I need to say? Worthy of a link from any site and really nice.
Floors are a little shy of the quality of walls. Although still seemless
and some of the floors are very nice, I am very particular about the patterns
formed by floors. The wallpaper patterned floors really aren't appealing
to my tastes and didn't care much for some of the "Plain" although
there are some very good floors here that people should check out.
The skins are okay not a lot of detail or shading, but careful attention
has been paid to the necklines and jewelry.
Overall the site is good if you are just looking for some nice walls,
this is the place to go, but if you are an object seeker or skin seeker,
it probably won't hold your interest. Still, check it out.
Three martinis and olive and a bookmark.
I see Skyler over there leaning up against the bar trying to hit on Dane...she
looks like she's about to fall over. Dane is looking rather annoyed. Whoops,
there she goes.
"Skyler, I think we need to call you a cab!"

Simantha - Simple statements: I play the Sims.
You play the Sims. We all play the Sims together.
Oh, okay, not those kinds of statements. Walls and floors statements.
Well, that works for me too. Good, she doesn't like it when walls don't
tile correctly! Yippee!!!!!!! That's good news. Aaaargh, many walls on
one page, loading time on this supposedly 56K modem increases significantly...but
they're nice walls! Very nicely done, and they tile properly and the pictures
of them aren't huge nor are they tiny. Terrific!!! Wooo! Southwestern
walls? I'm gonna have to check these out.
Very easy to navigate. Wish there were matching floors right alongside
the walls so I don't have to search, although with the subdivided sections
it makes life a bit easier :)
Yeah, I like this site and definitely bookmarking it...so...four martinis
for Simple Statements!

Squeegee - First impressions are constantly
the kicker for me. You can tell a lot about someone or something in the
initial minute of either talking to them or in this case by looking at
the main page of a website. "Simple Statements" has a very clean and organized
look to it. The floral wallpaper on the left side of the page brings forth
some feminine appearance. Yet it's not colorful enough that it would take
away from the essential news that is posted. Too many sites tend to leave
a large amount of trust into almost violent graphics that naturally place
the attention to the graphics instead of the works and words featured.
This site is very calming to the average Sim user and they will find online
peace by browsing such a site.
The last update was on the 15th of this month. The update listings are
easy to understand and right to the point. You are even given a chance
to learn some background behind the hostess Jennifer. To me, it's very
well put together. There is a large amount of information in a very small
area. I love that.
Some people will find annoying those damned Tripod banners that appear
each time a new page is loaded. But, they will also notice that those
banners are the only ads on this site. So it's acceptable. The Walls section
holds eleven categories each with it's own specials that caught my eyes.
I don't know how I pick them but I just clicked a random category and
found some nice goodies in the "Masculine" section. There is a light green
type of wallpaper that features either some soft green leaves or green
bats!! But, I like it and downloaded it for my game (W0000026.zip). I
was also attracted to the wall that looks like it's wood with wallpaper
that appears to have some sort of design that shows legal documents that
are filling up the walls (W0000076.zip). The first page in the "Classics"
section features a gray shade with sea shells on the top (W0000071.zip).
I noticed that even the "Plaid" section has designs that would enhance
any Sim household. I tend to think that plaid is one of the hardest to
get just right so that it goes well in a Sim neighborhood without taking
attention away from the Sims themselves. People will be please with what
is offered.
It's the same situation with the floors area. There is some nice flooring
to match what you download in the walls section.
There is not many skins offered. But since Jennifer has only been making
Sims goodies for a few months. So, she is fresh at this and she is also
talented. I am looking forward to what she makes in the future.
I submit a review of three martinis and a bookmark.

Skyler - Tonight Vima has us reviewing a lovely
little site I'd never seen before "Simple Statements". On the main page
she has all kinds of info. About herself, who's here, why the name "Simple
Statements", how to install files, and how to contact her for any help.
She also has an update board which comes in very handy, listing all the
new updates, and in which section you can find the.
I like the colors she's used on the main page, and just love the cabbage
roses border to the left. It's all very appealing to the eyes!
Now on to the papers, again I'm very impressed with these papers. She
has fabulous taste overall and knows how to tile them perfectly!
On the floors... First stop doormats. Well, I'm not overly impressed with
the designs however it my be just my age (or lack there of.) Some of the
floral papes are a bit to gaudy for me to use on the floor, however they're
still gorgeous patterns. I love the oalin floos ***hic***. They aren't
just plain and nondesccccript***hic***. She uses fabulous colors and texures.
I just arrived at the checkers, let me be the first to add I'm not a overly
impressed the checkered, only because checkered isn't always my favorite.
No one to the skins. The selection is skimp, she has just started making
skins, which she says so hersel***hic***, however she shows incredibkd
acheicjhments ***hic*** ahead of her in the Sim Community! :)
I toast her with tree ***hic*** martini glasses, with extra bubble (Vima
thinks she sees a few bubbles coming out of her mouth), and a book mark

Storel - Walls, walls, walls! This is the third
wall site in a row this week. Come on, Vima, what did I ever do to you?
I mean, I already apologized at least twenty times for spiking your margarita
with Ex-Lax that one time... I really didn't know that guy was your minister,
honest!
Actually, Simple Statements doesn't just have walls. They also
have floors, and even a few skins. The skins are okay, but there are only
six of them: four female and two male. I'd like to encourage Jennifer
to do more skins, but from some of her comments it sounds as if she doesn't
enjoy doing them as much as walls and floors.
The walls look good, and even difficult patterns like animal prints seem
to tile well. I like the way she's organized the paisley and plaid walls
into their own sections, so people who are, shall we say, overly sensitive
to those patterns can avoid them easily. *grin* The floors look good,
too. Many of them are matches for specific walls, though, and it would
be helpful if the matching walls and floors could be found on the same
pages with each other instead of being split into separate wall and floor
sections. Perhaps a separate "Sets" section?
Overall, the site has a good selection of walls and floors, and it plays
well with Netscape, too. Three martinis plus an extra lime.
