SimFreaks Calls a War on Sim R Us

The name fits them to a T. When they say Sims R Us, they certainly mean it. Because their site is purely great object...Great object created from the best websites in the community.

Why should we care? You may not care if someone is taking the Well Dressed Sims, SimFreaks, 7 Deadly Sims, Moni's Sims, BriSims, Livin' Real, Mom & Pop's Sims Shop, SimCo, Uncle George, Starlight's Sims, Jenny [sic] Sim Home, and other fine object creators things. What we do care about is that many creators are closing their sites because of this type of behavior.

Do we want to lose these fabulous creators because they are tired of dealing with petty fools taking their goods?

I've heard from a couple of these webmasters already and they are trying to handle this themselves, but should they need more power of the people, I'll let you know.

How to steal work and call it your own:

I thought I'd demonstrate how this method is done with something really obvious. Here you have 2 skins...one is Heather's from SimFreaks (Real Loser Guy) and the other is Amanda's from SimOnes (Real Troubador at SimFreaks).

I tool Kyle's hair from Amanda's Head and Heather's face and voila...a nice mutation.

Tyllenol recently shut down her site, Inspired Creations tired of other people stealing her work. A new buzz over at TobyKat & Starlights Forum is that even Amanda from SimOnes has been taking advantage of her work.

While Tyllenol hand drew these eyes and lips, it's amazing how closely the facial features resemble each other, down to the lip pixel. The pupils may have been reworked a little, but you can't overlook the eyelids and shape. The eyebrows even look the same from what one can see.

Amanda has admitted that she possible used a few of her faces and quickly removed some of the children heads that were under accusation. However, the debate still remains over other items.
