Juicy Gossip

Sim-Finder 2000

Vima - First thing I notice is the logo. It's rather pleasing and looks as though someone took some time and effort to make it. The colors are nice, until I scroll down. I don't care much for the change in text color. I nice idea to have someone else help you find things. The forums will be most useful for the community.

I don't really see much purpose in the new find of the week unless the objects listed are from smaller sites. The bigger sites get hit often enough, I don't think much insight to them are needed.

The rest of the page suffers in centered text and long scrolls. A little use of invisible tables would be a nice way to tidy it up. I like the use of the serif font, makes it easier to read, dispite the centered text. Poetry classes teach that spaces before a sentence cause the reader to pause. Effective in poetry, but not in webpages.

The link pages are sort of unneccessary. Why three pages? How about 3 columns and smaller text. I know I'm not that blind.

They are going to start reviews? Gee, the bug must be catching.

Not really much to this site, so I'm leaving it with 2 glasses for effort and contribution to the community.

Mason - Well my first thought while looking at this site is... dont we have forums for sim site updates? Why do so many people do sites like these? It has a clean look to it, nice design. This site looks like its trying to make this service a little better, by offering more things.. I like the fact that this site has little screenshots/previews for the big finds of the week. This site has much room to grow and I wish them all the luck in the future. But again I dont really like this type of site. I give this site 2 Flirtini Glasses.

Church Lady - Lost.

Skyler - I really like this little site, and think it's a creative idea. Specializing in 'object-only' download sites :) The main page has nice simple colors but not boring. He/she gets right down to business with her newest object finds, which generally include some of the best available (nudges Mason with her elbow "Why haven't we seen here Sim Freaks lately?" Hmmm... I suppose "heads" don't count as "objects" although some would disagree :D)

This site also has a "Lost & Found" section where people can post in a forum looking for a particular object, and other members can help then locate it. The last page is full of links to other fabulous sites.

Since I have been visiting this site from the beginning and it has included some marvelous downloads, I'd like to see an archive page for the newer people looking for fab Sim objects.

Cheers to Sim Finder 2000. Hmm... Should that read 2001? Just a thought. I raise my glass with three martinis and extra bubbles :)

Come one Squeegee let's get this party started, while Church Lady recovers from 7 Deadly Sins review yesterday LOL :D

Squeegee - Very helpful and interesting site. The colors are easy on these aged eyes. And I do not see any banner ads of any kind except for what is Sims related. Nice first impression!!

I have to admit that I don't use these Sim "lists" as much as I should. I tend to go about the Sims Community with my own way. And that tends repeat itself most of the time. This site has perked my interest to start using sites that list the growing amount of Sim sites out on the Net.

I like the added feature of showing screen images of some of the favorite downloads. This feature alone caused me to take a trip to Simmandments and download the Windsor Dining Room set.

There are no negatives to this site at all. Oh, except for that pop up banner ad. But that's acceptable since there are no ads on the pages itself.

The site is updated every Sunday. Which makes me take my time to check for updates from now on. This site has been added to my bookmarks and I will be a more frequent visitor. :)

A very detailed "plus" grade for this site is the fact that the person who runs it hasn't placed her/his name all over the site. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a person doing that. But I give more credit to people who would rather not give themselves the spotlight and turn that spotlight to the love of the game instead. And yes, I give myself a negative point because my name is all over where my skins work is featured...

This follows a quote that I know that I have always kept close to my heart, "a true hero is the one not recognized".

Not only has this website gained a new fan. But I give this website a review of three martinis glasses.
